You and your friends are planning a long vacation trip across India. Create a shared experience where you can plan itineraries, document relevant trip items and allocate bills & budget. Think of what more features the experience could accommodate in different user journeys to aid the experience for travellers and explorers in groups.

A trip with friends can be far more overwhelming than it appears. It necessitates a lot of responsibilities, back and forth communication with people, making to-do lists, adjustments, collective decision making, ensuring everyone's desires are met while making the most of every minute you have together, being decisive - as a group and an individual, making an iterinary, managing expenses, and so on.

I spoke with at least 8-10 people from the same college group for the primary research. I understood their concerns as well as the benefits of traveling with friends, both as an individual and as a group.

It can be difficult to learn about alternative options for your failed Plan A when you're in a new place.
Individual experiences should be weighted equally with group experiences.
Students enjoy spontaneous plans or scenes that happen around them. However, unless you are recommended by another group or locality, it does not always appear to work.
The generation prefers devices to tell them what to do and when to do it because of their reliance on technology.
Missing out on places because others were unwilling to accompany the person was a common concern amongst the group members.
There is a need for a common area where everyone can plan together//an alternative to the WhatsApp group.

Individual research, decisions taken should be put up in a common space for others to view/question/give suggestions. This will help in avoiding the blame game.

While travelling or planning to travel to a new place, students tend to keep a ‘plan B’ ready if their initial plan fails in execution due to several reasons (weather, availibility, crowd, timings etc)

Tired of not going places because your friends won't? Assist them in finding you by including your personal preferences as well as group preferences.
Reliance on Technology:
We rely on technology for everything, from reminders to scheduling. A reminder about your upcoming event is needed while on a trip.

Holding someone accountable of a task helps clear out the confusion.
