The Problem
The Problem
India has about 70 million people with diabetes ($9B annual spend) and another 70 m in pre-diabetic stage. Of the 70M less than 2% are in glycemic control, the remaining 98% are exposed to harmful effects of out of range blood glucose levels leading to costly diabetes complications such as retinopathy and foot ulcers.
Out of this, 6% of the women suffer from Gestational Diabetes.

The chatbot offers several services, including access to a diabetes educator to guide you, meal analysis for your and your child's health, checking glucose and vitals, and providing you with basic information on GDM, sugar, proteins, carbs, and so on.

7Sugar WhatsApp ChatBot Service for GDM patients, is out there for the users to use. We’re in the back and forth process of making it better through user testinga and reviews. I'm further working on the web interface for the doctors and the dashboard to view the progress on the ChatBot.
